No one has been more maligned and misunderstood than Paul in regards to his views about women. There is neither male or female in Christ. The church in Ephesus came largely out of the sex cult of Diana worship and those women freshly emerging from that culture were the women to whom Paul was addressing to keep silent in the church and not to teach men. It wasn't a command for all churches for all times, ranger addressing a particular woman who was problematic in Ephesus at that particular time. The main reason there isn't revival is men keeping women suppressed in the church today. It's a boy's club. Repent. Excellent book, recommended.Product details

Dr. Hyatt has done his research. We need to restore women to their God given roles in the church of Jesus Christ.
Absolutely love this book! Very informative and lots of historical context. Growing up in a Pentecostal church that opposed women in Ministry, this gave me the opportunity to see how the Apostle Paul's message regarding women in Ministry is still relevant today.
A super valuable presentation of the complete validity of the ministry of women (including ordained roles) in the Church. It is from a solid, evangelical, Bible-based prospective, NOT some leftist, apostate, feminist view.

This is a thought provoking work for anyone caught in the dilemma of trying to resolve the question of gender, in so far as it relates to roles and activities within the body of believers. Meaning those who have submitted to the Lordship of Christ Jesus and the authority that has been bestowed upon Him by His Father. This is a subject that has been thrown back and forth by many, leading to contentions, divisions and a great deal of ill feeling towards those who have taken a position different to others. An outcome which in its self is totally at odds with the spirit of Christ. For anyone who wishes to obtain a balanced an objectives examination of the issues involved, they can do no better than spend time considering the case presented by this book.
